Boyd’s fantastic Alumitub! Built as a Model A, would it have been an even bigger hit as a ’32? Www.roddingrevolutions.com #streetrods#hotrods #modelA #Boyd #Coddington#roddingrevolutions.com

This 1937 Minotti body was originally built by Boyd Coddington in 1999. The car recently made a trip to visit Duane Mayer at American Hot Rods Inc for a little refresher. The first thing to get changed were to take off the dated billet wheels and replac them with some HRBB Signature Series Perfected. 18×8 and 20×8.5 with HRBB’s famous polished and painted finish. The color of choice for the wheels were the ceramic silver. For more information about this build or the Perfected wheels call 714-855-4808.

Here is a shot of a 20″ HR-74 with a Charcoal center and a brushed lip with low gloss clear applied to it. If you have more questions about the wheels or the finish feel free to contact Chris Coddington and Hot Rods by Boyd at 866-612-2693. Hot Rods by Boyd makes these Pro Touring Wheels right there in So Cal. 100% of that wheel is made in the USA. They are made to order to fit most of the common Pro Touring brake and suspension packages like Wilwood, Baer, Detroit Speed.

Back in 1991 Boyd Coddington built the heavily modified 1957 Chevy designed by Thom Taylor for Joe Hrudka of Mr. Gasket. The car featured a unique set of 3 spoke wheels called the Ninja. 23 years later Boyd’s son, Chris, was commissioned to reproduce the set for a custom build but in a large 24″ diameter. Shown here is a 24×15″ soft lip version of the Ninja sitting next to an original 15″ Tri-Fan. These big 24″ Ninjas will be going on a retro styled 1995 Suburban. Can’t wait to see the final project. For more information about custom build wheels and producing your own one off set call Chris and his team at Hot Rods by Boyd/HRBB at 714-855-4808.
